VENETIAN PLASTER

Venetian plaster was first used as an ornamental coating in Venice, Italy, in the 15th century. This is a decorative technique that can be used on ceilings and walls, whose finish and texture resemble that of polished marble. Venetian plaster is composed of lime, powdered marble, plaster and natural pigments. Its aesthetics are characterized by a smooth texture and a velvety shine.
